And we’re streaming… again

Greetings dear readers, listeners, viewers and audience members! The streaming channel for Jim’s Toy Box is available once again via the ROKU platform and available all around the world wherever ROKU is a thing. You can add the channel to your line up by clicking THIS LINK.

While my ratings totally suck as of this writing, the hope is for that to improve as new content gets added in the coming weeks.

New programs will be added weekly featuring a wide variety of topics that I hope will inform, entertain, inspire or provide a combination of all three. The first short feature up is an audio interview I did way back in 2013 (wow, just hit me that was a decade ago) with the late Julie Adams.

Julie Adams was an American actress who is best known for her roles in classic films and television shows. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa on October 17, 1926.

Adams began her acting career in the 1940s, appearing in a number of films and television shows in supporting roles. She gained widespread recognition in 1954 for her role as Kay Lawrence in the classic horror film “Creature from the Black Lagoon.” She also appeared in a number of other popular films, including “The Atomic City” (1952) and “The Americanization of Emily” (1964).

In the 1960s and 1970s, Adams appeared in a number of successful television shows, including “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” “The Mod Squad,” and “The Love Boat.” She also continued to act in films, with notable roles in “The Mississippi Gambler” (1953) and “The Sons of Katie Elder” (1965).

Adams received several awards and accolades for her acting career. She continued to act in film and television up until her death in February of 2019. She was widely regarded as a Hollywood icon and I am certainly honored to have had the chance to chat with her.

Check it all out and spread the word as you see fit. I truly appreciate it and look forward to the future we’re sharing right now 🙂

Now Go, Play!
