Inspiration has returned!

Good day to all of you dear readers! I’ve sure been missing you as of late and I hope to remedy that. I’ve got some new ideas coming to the Toy Box in the coming weeks and into the New Year that I hope you all will enjoy. But they’re going to be a bit different than what you’ve seen around here before.

Since I started the Toy Box in 2008 my primary focus was on Mego and Mego like toys. That was fun and they will always hold a place in my heart but frankly, doing the reviews on them got extremely boring to me. Not the toys but talking about them in a “review” format.  Not a lot of play value in that IMO. I created this Box to have fun with more so than be so dry that the sands of Tatooine look more quenching. “Oh no, a Star Wars reference?”

Yep.

The Force has truly awakened in me ironically along the same timeline that it did all those years ago. It’s actually kind of creepy when you think about it. As a kid playtime went from Mego to KISS to Star Wars and pretty much hovered around the three. And now here we are three decades later and all of them have come back full circle. Go figure.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that the focus of the Toy Box that you can expect will most likely find more Star Wars related content, stories and MAYBE a review or two. But more importantly I hope you will have more fun here than you’ve had in the past. Seriously I want you all to come by, read and browse around and then take my call to action “Now, Go Play!” to heart. Because that’s what it’s really all about.

Now, Go Play!
