And there’s still nothing on…

On this day (April 30) in 1964 – The FCC ruled that all TV receivers should be equipped to receive both VHF and UHF channels. I joke that there’s still nothing on (which is true) but its because local television has nothing to offer. Doesn’t have to be that way if television station owners followed the guidance of Weird Al Yankovic. Seriously watch Prime Time Television these days and then tell me how “Wheel of Fish” is not a brilliant idea!
